Rift Sawn Red Oak

Red Oak varies in color from reddish-tan to medium brown and has a medium to coarse texture. Rift sawn red oak has a more uniform striped appearance than plain sawn red oak and mostly lacks the figuring and medullary rays found in quarter sawn red oak.
