Easy Access to Sign-Off Sheets
Required signoff sheets are now available directly on the TruQuote homepage. In addition, error messages which previously instructed users to contact their Account Manager for sign-off sheets will now link directly to the necessary form.

Machining Options Update
We have made significant updates and improvements to the machining options available for swing doors which released today, Monday, March 9th. The most exciting addition is the fact that we’ve added over 40 standard machining preps for many popular options from Emtek, Baldwin and other manufacturers. Many preps that previously required machining sheets can now be easily selected as a standard prep options in TruQuote, thus eliminating the need for machining sheets. Read below for more details:
40 New Standard Machining Options
40 popular machining specifications for commonly used hardware from Emtek, Baldwin, Hager and other manufacturers can now be selected as standard options via drop down menus. Rather than having to complete off-line machining sheets for these options, they can now easily be added to any door on your quote.

Emtek 8801 Roller Latch is Now a Standard Installed Options for Pre-Hung Pair Units
The Emtek 8801 Roller Latch is now available as a TruStile-installed hardware option on pre-hung pair units. When you specify a pre-hung center meet pair in TruQuote, simply navigate to the Machining Tab, change your &ldquop;Catch” selection to “Roller Latch” and the system will default to supplying the Emtek 8801 roller latch on your unit instead of TruStile’s standard ball catch

Fewer Steps to Change Default Machining Specifications
The process of modifying TruStile default machining specifications on a door has been streamlined and is now much easier to complete in TruQuote. Rather than having to choose “Modified”, users can now easily change key specifications such as:
- Change Hinge Placement Locations
- Change Lock Bore Locations and Specifications
- Change a Cylindrical Lock Prep to a Common Mortise Lock
- Change a Ball Catch prep to a Roller Latch prep
Ability to Collect Custom Machining Preps in TruQuote Instead of Through Offline Machining Sheets
For custom machining needs that are not included within TruStile’s 40 new standard options, we have implemented the ability to collect and upload template information within TruQuote, rather than requiring offline machining sheets. This means that your Account Manager can now enter custom machining prep information into your line item in TruQuote and upload your supplied hardware templates into TruQuote. This will virtually eliminate the need for offline machining sheets for any swing door application. Please contact your Account Manager if you have questions regarding this new functionality and process for accommodating custom machining preps in TruQuote.
Color-Coded Drawings
Layers are now color-coded for Door (Blue) and Jamb (Green) details, and Machining (Red) images & details to better separate information on drawings.

We’ve added a new zoom feature to the drawings in TruQuote. You can now zoom in on your configuration and inspect the detail more closely.
