TruQuote Updates - July 2019
On Thursday, July 25th TruStile will be implementing another significant update to TruQuote that will mark an important first step towards automating the ordering of factory machined doors without the use of machining sheets.
New Standard Machining Prep Selections Will Reduce Machine Sheet Requirements:
Users will now be able to use TruQuote to quote and order all Emtek and Baldwin pocket door lock, edge pull and flush pull preps for pocket and barn door applications. In addition, we’ve added a first set of popular mortise lock preps to TruQuote, including the Baldwin 8500 and the Accurate 9000, 9100 and 9800.
This means any doors requiring these machining preps can now be ordered via drop-down selections in TruQuote, removing the time-consuming requirement of completing offline machining sheets and providing templates for these orders.
To make this advancement possible, we have also added Pocket and Barn as new “Opening Types” within TruQuote. When requiring factory machining on these door types, please be sure to specify them in the Opening Type field moving forward. In addition, TruStile has added a knock down jamb kit option for Pocket and Barn doors that will allow users to easily add jamb components for these opening types.
To obtain all the details on this exciting update, we are also providing a PDF guide for all these changes that can be downloaded here. In addition, you can read through the detailed updates below:
Key Updates on Each New TruQuote Feature:
Please read below to see and learn about each specific new update in TruQuote.
New Opening Types:
- Pocket: This opening type is for doors that will be placed into pocket applications.

Previously Announced:
- Sliding: This opening type will remain in place but should only be used for sliding door applications that are not Pocket or Barn door applications.

As such, this Opening type is limited to doors that are full and square, bevel both sides or bevel one side. Pre-fit options will continue to be available for Slab Only doors.
